Beyond the Paddle

Beyond the Paddle explores the role that sports can play in the integration and well-being of refugees and asylum-seekers in the U.K. The multimedia project by Simone Camps and Shane Donglasan focuses on the Brighton Table Tennis Club as a leading example of a sports club that welcomes refugees. The club’s work with unaccompanied minors has shown that bringing diverse backgrounds together creates stronger communities.
